Female impersonation.
Herbert Clifton did his entire act in "one," probably due to the fact that he replaced James and Bonnie Thornton, who were out of the bill. From the start he doesn't attempt any deception as to the female impersonation, which is really more entertaining. He sang the "Madam Butterfly" solo legitimately and to good effect and for encore returned to the travesty work with a splendid Egyptian take-off.
