"Stateroom 9"
Helen Gleason fitted with her quiet comedy-drama, "Stateroom 9" (called "The Submarine Attack" last time here) into the mood of the house, which was in kindly spirits and inclined to laugh when at all encouraged. The vehicle has grown passe, as submarine horrors have lost their kick. But the neat dressing and juvenile comedy carried the sketch past the barrier with colors flying.
