John and Mae Burke act as a “foolish looking messenger boy” and a “heroic suffragette soldier” respectively. The backdrop is the headquarters of a suffragette armoury. As the suffragette, Mae wears tights and a feather hat. She changes costume frequently.

John's "silly leer and squeaky voice" found favor with the audience and elicited laughter at several points during the act. He does piano comedy.
The team has class. With a few adjustments in their talk, they could rank among the top performers in their line.
