His monologue was made up mostly of "locals," and his friends out front even went so far as to butt into the proceedings and "feed" him lines. His parodies went very well, particularly a medley with a connected story.
t was pretty soft for Jack Gardner Wednesday night. The house was more than half filled by a delegation of Arcanumites or members of some such order, and Gardner seemed to know half the audience personally and by name.
The greater part of Gardner's talk is fresh and pointed, and the act passes nicely, with an amusing finish.
