This nervousness went to such an extreme that Mr. Evans be- came tangled up in the lines of "You Will Have to Wait Until My Ship Comes In/' a song for which Mr. Evans wrote the music.
On Sunday night he recovered himself and the audience, remaining thirty minutes on the stage.
and George Evans scored emphatically, although Mr. Evans was so evidently nervous he could not recollect the dialogue of a new monologue prepared for the occasion.
