24 min F.S. This is a very novel and effective piece of playwriting and acting, whereas the movement at first is rather slow, the interest increases and works up to a very strong climax. Action turns on spiritualistic craze of a husband, who, after a quarrel with his wife, falls asleep in his drawing-room and goes through an amusing mass of experiences with the ‘daughter of Venus’. There are no end of surprises by the beautiful fairy who performs many miracles with her enchanted wand. Interest sustained and laughs frequent, the closing hand big, with curtain call.
