Mr. Nobles' idea of a "flash" newspaper man is not convincing. He does not look nor act the part at any time, and his comedy passages with Dolly Nobles and Ida Lewis add nothing to the value of the offering. Thomas Hunter who plays an old man did not seem to be quite sure of his lines and worked as though he were unacquainted with the role.
What with the noise of the Central railroad just outside, the rustling of programs and the restlessness of an uninterested audience, the sketch made a dull spot in the show.
