Deodato

Italian Magician who had a trial here last Thursday, and as I predicted made good. He has a splendid act, and luckily cannot speak English, and his whole act is pantomime. He opens with Ching Ling Foo’s fire trick, and all his tricks went very well. A “find” for the money. His closing trick is a corker. Both Deodato and assistant are dressed in red swallow tails and black satin knee breeches. Very little paraphernalia and no steps to the audience. 17 minutes, full stage.
