Presenting “The Travelling Man.” Company consists of Searl and Violet Allen with the assistance of three men. First scene, – drop in one, represents that of a railroad station with a man talking through a megaphone giving the time of the trains leaving, etc. Second scene, drop in one, represents that of the interior of a Pullman car with a prop door, frame chairs at windows, etc. Searl and Violet Allen are the passengers and with the aid of the brakeman, conductor and newsboy, they managed to get continuous laughs with rapid fire talking and witty sayings, etc. The material is all new and funny. Personally, I think some parts of the act is a scream. The only fault being a poor finish like all of this man’s work. However, it is alright for the money. 20 min. in 1.
