In “Ella’s all right” 19 min. F.S. 4 shows. This is a rather dowdy sketch which concerns the seamy side of the domestic life of a shop-girl and the floor walker. The paltry surroundings and the sloppy house-keeping is somewhat exaggerated and might be lightened a little without taking away from the fun. There is a good deal of character humor in the sketch which is written, I fancy, close to life, and Norton and Nicholson get all there is out of it. The laughs were frequent and the finish was strong, with a little toning down, think that the sketch will pass muster with people who are sensitive about a vulgar side of domesticity.
