Songs, Sayings and Doings. 18 min. in 1. 2 shows. This man’s mannerisms did not take at all with the audience. He seems to lack the personality to be in the big class of monologue artists. He may do better with the evening audiences, but he certainly did not make the expected sensation this afternoon. The close was rather weak for a feature in this spot or the bill, and the one curtain call which he took was rather forced. He realizes himself that he failed to make his accustomed hit here, and will change his act somewhat, giving it a better arrangement and including more songs.
