In his one-act farce: “A Strenuous Proposal.” The company consists of Mr. Gillingwater, two women and three men. This comedy was described in precious criticism. The drunken character is not overdrawn. The company is excellent. Act contains many good strong laughs and the business is funny. Comedy is thoroughly alright and finished to big applause, taking three curtain calls. 33 min. Full stage.
