Comic ethnic characterizations and dialogue.
"Recruiting."
This offering is along the same lines as one seen in the dim past, at least as to the general lines. Some time ago there was a recruiting act that has the straight and officer and the recruit, "dutch." This act differs as it is modernized and the straight is the recruiting sergeant and the comedy is delivered by a "wop" character. There are plenty of laughs and the measuring bit and the physical examination are screams. It was one of the laughing hits of the show.
