Vocalist. While we have had more brilliant singers and women in this line with bigger reputations I really think that from the standpoint of the audience this girl is better than any of them. She has remarkably sympathetic voice and it has evidently been well cultivated, and her singing of the ‘Last Rose of Summer’ simply got the audience in great shape this afternoon. 11 minutes in one.
