He finished the act with an Irish recitation about being a good fellow that got him a little recognition. He also told one story that Julius Tannen told last week in this house and also telling another the same comedian used to tell. The first is about the union suit and the second about checking trousers. The bartender and change story Fogerty is telling is also told by Billy Gould at the Folies Bergere.
Fogarty did not have a chance. He told twelve "gags" before a smile greeted him.
