The violinist opens with "Dat Italian Love" but showed more talent with his Hungarian waltz. He played the "Mocking Bird" with variations and then followed with a medley in which "rag" predominates.
With all due respect to Oscar Lorraine and Rinaldo, Alfredo is in their class. Though he garbs himself like Rinaldo, it does not effect his playing. He could not doubt fiddle just as well in evening clothes, no doubt looking much better. He does not fake, but rather his expression and technique is superb.
