The sight of the poses is mostly obtained through the shades of light and color effects.
The single pose in which the model is draped in the near-altogether is "Evening Idylls, and then she is seated. "The Gleaners" and "Spirit of '76" kept the applause going. The finish was purely patriotic. The other poses include "The Blacksmith," "The Peacemaker," "Return of the Mayflower," "The Shepherd" and "The Siren," the latter somewhat undressed as well. The poses are held for roughly forty seconds, the changes done rather quickly. No large poses are attempted; none of the pictures have over four figures.
The posing turns are pleasing, but Maxim makes no bid for approval through the nude. "The Return of the Mayflower" is the weakest on the list. While the act did well, it seems that this quiet and artistic act would be better suited in an earlier position on the bill.
