"The Sam Devere". The first part is called "The Hoodlums
Holiday," for what reason is never made
plain. It is made up of time-worn burlesque
bits and throughout is very, very
dull. Almost the only person in the company
that really stood out was Matt Kennedy,
the principal comedian. He is a capable
burlesque comedian, and in addition has
a most agreeable voice. Also featuring Lillian Stevens, Adele Ranney and Mabel Calvert.
None of the organizations
seen so far this season is
more in need of improvement.
