The Victoria Fur carries about the lustiest-lunged basso in vaudeville captivity. They go in too much for comedy, which got over all right at the Avenue, but in other localities is very apt to hit a brick wall. There are three pretty good voices in this quartet, while the other doesn't seem to gibe. Anyway the harmony effects are not what they should be. It's either the fault of the voices or lack of consistent practice. More attention to the harmony and less to weatherbeaten comedy bits would work a difference.
