Their cordial reception is presumably the only justification they need for the horseplay they deliver, but there were times in which the “cissy” overstepped the line. The German comedian was distinctly funny and took a number of exceedingly skillful falls. His dialect is good, also, and the four men make up one of the best singing organizations doing this sort of work.
Their harmony is faultless, and individually the men have more than agreeable voices, the bass, particularly being endowned with a fine, reverberating voice, true and pure in quality and of extraordinary volume,
