Mr. Birch is always funny. He does not polish his comedy up, but gives it as it is, and the pleasing effect is greater for this reason. He has been compared several times to Geo. Mozart, the English comedian, seen over here last season in a very similar offering. Mr. Mozart is somewhat more elaborate; also "finished," but the comparison has never been to Mr. Birch's disadvantage.
