In New York Town

Louise Carver had an eccentric part and she makes a first rate eccentric, verging on a female clown, by reason of her great height.
Among the other principals, Rita Redmond as the prima donna shone in the singing numbers, but was otherwise rather pale.
The score is exceptionally good and the production, in dressing, material and personnel is distinctly a step forward in this class of entertainment.
