The act was twelve minutes long.
De Haven was previously one half of De Haven and Sydney and has now found a female partner in Miss Leonard. They open with a song and dance around a bench, do one solo each, and finish with a duet of the “Mysterious Rag” type in which they pretend to be frightened and sing under a green spotlight.
The couple are attractive and dress well. Leonard needs a better voice if she is going to sing a solo ballad, but her voice is better than most members of a dancing team. The two are also not equal dancers, so there is very little dancing in the act. The couple needs some original material to get them to the big time.
