Mr. Raymond plays three characters, and Miss Hess two.
They do well enough, but are burdened with a poor assortment of talk and songs. “Down at the Farmyard Gate” in particularly could go by the board, and the only commendable portion of the act itself is the travesty, which seems good by contrast. Both play “kid” parts. A proper sketch is needed to display themselves.
