Chas. J. Stine played exceptionally well an old man, and Olive Evans had a laughable character part which she capably handled. Alice Neal looked the ideal serving maid and Wm. Evans gave a first-class portrayal of an English butler.
The sketch and cast scored a complete laughing success.
The construction of the piece though could serve as a model for vaudeville. During the twenty minutes, nothing is left unexplained or to the imagination of the audience. The face is full of complications and action.
