Fred Lindsay

(15 mins.) An excellent novelty that scored big. He gives a very spectacular exhibition with long whips. The act contains several thrills, some good comedy and went over big.

“Alexandria”

(12 mins.) Aside from holding the comedy a little too long this act brought good results. He plays the Xylophone very well when he gets started and closed to a good hand.

Russian Cathedral Singers

(13 mins.) These men have good voices, sing fine harmony and were a big size applause hit, doing equally as well with English as their native songs.

Mac Rae & Clegg

(8 mins.) Did very well in the opening spot. Usual routine of cycling tricks with some comedy.

John Hymer

32 min in 1 & 3 Spec. A laughing hit.

Allman & Mayo

12 min in 1   Jack Allman and a new partner. The comedian got a few laughs but the act as a whole was rather weak.

Ethel Hopkins

14 min in 1   This girl makes a nice appearance and has a very fair voice. Did well in this spot.

Raymond Wilbert

12 min in 3 Spec. Novel juggling and hoop rolling act with some good comedy lines made a good opener.

Bud Synder & Company

The only act on the bill that has smacks of cheapness. There is some bicycle riding and some primitive comedy. The act got laughs and held the spot satisfactorily but I do not consider it a first class act.12 min. full stage.

Craig Campbell

Mr. Campbell and his excellent pianist, Hector McCarthy, held this difficult spot without any trouble. The singing was received with great applause and to say that he made a hit is putting it very mildly. His pianist played a classical number which was highly appreciated. The whole act uncovers the fact that the public are willing to listen to something good rather than a lot of jazz. This might apply to the bill in general, which is particularly free from cheap clap trap, bad music and vulgarity. Mr. Campbell did 22 min. in one.
