La France & Kennedy

(21 mins.) Moved up at the first show owing to the failure of Coogan & Casey to get in on time for the matinee. This act put over a good laughing hit. They work in blackface, one in comedy make-up, and have a good lot of material. Closed to a good hand.

Masters & Kraft

(19 Mins.) A speedy, classy and prettily staged dancing act, including six persons. They do a variety of stepping, all of it fast, and the act is a very good combination of color and speed. Scored strong.

Lucy Bruch

(10 mins.) Repeated very well. Her program includes popular and classical music and she is an excellent musician.

Walker & West

In a singing, talking and dancing act, entitled “After the Dance” — Man and woman. This act went very poor. Nothing to it. Did not receive a single hand during or even at the finish. 10 min. in one.

Cutty & Nelson

Man and woman. In Songs and Music. Play piano, xylophone, cornet, also singing; this act received a good hand at finish. 10 min in one.

Kerskind

The Australian Comedian and Caricaturist in “Cartoons a La Carte” — Has a very bright and humorous way in doing his cartoons, especially when he caricatures people in the audience — take it good naturedly. Received plenty of laughs and a good hand at finish. 12 min. palace.

Lloyd & Goodman

They appeared at the night show. Black face comedian who did fairly well, but were no doubt handicapped by having no musical rehearsal, etd., 14 min. in one.

Taxie

This well trained dog gaver a really remarkable performance, and I was agreeably disappointed with the trainer who I had been told was very much of a hick. This did not spear in his act at all, there is nothing offensive in his work and the act as a whole gave most decided satisfaction. 15 min. full stage.

Greenlee & Drayton

Two colored boys who are full of personality and put over a corking good act, particularly as to dancing. 11 min. in one.
