(15 mins.) This girl has a good voice, makes an attractive appearance and has some good songs, with a saxophone solo to close. Got over fine.
“That Grand Old Man of Base Ball” in a baseball skit. The skit is a baseball theme and “Pop” makes good use of it to keep himself in the foreground. The girls dressed very neat. Carry a drop representing a baseball grounds. The act received a number of laughs and a good hand at finish. 20 min.
In a comedy skit “AT Training Quarters” — Man and woman. Carry a drop representing representing training quartors. Talking and singing — Miss Jackson is a sweet singer. Received plenty of laughs thro act and a good hand at finish.
“The French Refugee.” – Assisted at piano by her mother. Plays several numbers on the violin. Received a good hand after each number and a big hand at finish. 9 min.
“The Man on the EIFEL Tower” – Aminiature of the famous Eifel Tower is the pedestal upon which he performs a series of feats — uses chairs; received a good hand all thro act; also, same at finish. 7 min. full.
Two man & Two Women. A very good singing act that did not go well this afternoon. When they started to sing their operatic numbers a large number of the audience left the theatre. The act appeared to be new judgeing by the way they finished the act.
The Hair Hunter. Good sing, talking & wooden shoe dancing. went over very good. 12 min in special scenery in 2. 12 min.
