(16 mins.) The “nut” comedy of this couple got a lot of laughs. The girl is a good foil for the comedy of her partner and the act scored a laughing hit. It is purely a “nut” turn from start to finish.
(20 mins.) A revue of a different sort from what we have been getting and it was very well received. The dancing is especially good and the singing of the boys builds the act up into a very clever number. It is nicely staged and dressed and got over very well.
(15 mins.) She did very well, although her material does not seem to be as good as it was the last time she was here. She did some clever whistling with her songs and piano playing and closed to a very good hand.
(26 mins.) His handwriting act is just as big a novelty as it ever was and was accorded a very big hand. He is attempting a little too much comedy which robs the act of some of its value. With this eliminated or toned down with act would be improved. As it was it went over big.
(13 mins.) They did very well with comedy songs, following a bit of comedy talk, which opened their act. Their songs are their best asset and won them a good hand.
(15 mins.) A novelty dancing turn that did fairly well in the opening spot. They use a series of cartoon moving pictures during changes. The girls are fairly good dancers.

This old fashioned singing sketch was entirely out of place in this fast moving show, and its slowness suffered much by comparison. It was tolerated at the matinee but got many snickers even from orchestra patrons. At the evening performance some few in the crowded gallery laughed in the wrong place which seemed sufficient excuse for Miss Campbell calling for the curtain. This made a wait in our show and upset one of the best bills of the season. One of her company informed us that this has happened six or seven times and there is no excuse for it.
