Farrell, Taylor & Co.

Two men in blackface, a young girl harpest, and a lady saxophonists; the latter is easily that star of the act. The blackface comedy is antiguated [sic]. They went very well with the holiday audience and probably in some other city might be liked, but aside from the saxaphone [sic] playing I don’t believe our regular clientele will care from them. 25 minutes; open and close in one.

Abbott & White

Two young men with pleasing voices, but only fair ability, who by no means compare with the #2 acts we have been having of late. Most of their laughs and applause are secured by very questionable methods. 15 minutes in one.

Mazie King

15 min, f.s. spl. This girl does all the modern dances on her toes assisted by male partner who also does very good work. Miss King makes a few changes of costume and the act did well in closing spot.

Valeska Suratt

28 min. f.s., spl. This is Miss Suratt’s first appearance here in a sketch of this nature and she has surrounded herself with an exceptionally strong cast. The act held the interest of our audience throughout and closed to a very good hand.

Dorothy Brenner

17 min in 1. Spl. Miss Brenner has a list of original songs and some very beautiful costumes; closing with a “Kiddie” number. She has made wonderful progress since her previous appearance here and was one of the hits of the show.

Jack & Cora Williams

7 min. f.s. spl. Set. This act has a very showy setting and the girl does some very clever stunts while hanging by her teeth in midair. The finishing trick is a “corker” and put the act over to a good.

Durkin Girls

16 min. in 1. These girls have a nicely arranged program of songs with a little chatter. Put their numbers over well and make very nice appearance. Went good.

Kenney, Mason & Scholl

7 min f.s. Three men in roller skating offering. Two of the men on rollers do the customary hand balancing routine with the third member working without rollers. Went over good closing.

Eva Tanguay

20 min. in 2. Miss Tanguay has an entirely new program of songs and some wonderfully unique costumes. She finished with old reliable “I Don’t Care” but none of her numbers received extraordinary applause.

Don Fong Gue and Haw

11 min. spl. In 1 ½ and f.s. Chinese boy and girl doing a couple of songs in 1 closing with a Fox Trot and Gavotte in f.s. This act started slowly but their dancing at the finish put them over to a good hand.
