Kenny, Nobody and Platt

12 minutes in one. One of the few remaining blackface teams in vaudeville worth playing. They did the same act and the same songs that they gave us a couple of seasons ago and were as big a hit as ever. The men have remarkable voices and put over their line of patter effectively.

Byal and Early

10 minutes in one. A dapper fellow and a girl with a ‘Ray Cox’ voice, and the most extraordinary arms a comedian ever possessed. Miss Early’s dislocation during the ragtime songs is screamingly ludicrous. Without especially good voices, this team gets by nicely.

Paul Conchas

18 min, worked in new picturesque setting, helping the act on looks. He repeated many of old tricks, and introduced several new ones, among them one extraordinary feat – climbing an upright while balancing three heavy balls on his head. A very showy trick. Was given close attention and finished very well. Comedy went well.

Billy B. Van & Co.

‘Props.’ 35 min. Staged with new setting, the sketch, ‘Props’ is much the same as when last presented in vaudeville except that near the finish, it has been changed for the better and their close in one is much stronger. Ran too long but the act is a bigger laugh-getter than anything they have used and scored a hit.

Frederick V. Bowers and Co.

(Second appearance this season) Man, white woman, colored boy and girl, and dog. Works in one, two, and full stage, for six different scenes, for ten numbers, 19 minutes. Singing, dancing, comedy, changes. Went good, at night – at matinee.

Arthur Day

Eccentric comedian who dances, sings, does acrobatic dancing, mimicing [sic] of a Chinaman singing a native love-song, and who features ‘On the Way to Mexico” which goes big. 14 minutes. Hit.

Elie Bernard

2 shows, 12 min. in 1. This girl is outclassed in the 2 show section. She is decidedly flippant, and our audiences do not care for that sort of thing. She is not as pleasing an entertainer as Dora Pelletier.

Howland and Leach

Mr. Howland is of the Vernon Castle type, tall and graceful. Miss Leach is very pretty, bright looking, and always smiling (not machine made), and dances well.
