Singing, talking and dancing skit, 12 minutes (I). Good act, with practically everything therein new and up-to-date. Their running fire of badinage is refreshingly new and found the vulnerable spot in the adamantine armor in which a Woonsocket audience is usually encased, the laughter which greeted their efforts being a genuine tribute to the excellence which predominates thouout [sic] the entire act.
Dutch comedian, 14 minutes in (I). Good act, his songs being the catchy variety, while his dissertation on connubial felicity is hilariously funny, and productive of great laughter. The audience received him graciously, and the act is a pronounced success.
Two men – one working straight and the other grotesque tramp, in an acrobatic offering performing many novelties, closing with an especially made table equipped with springs from which they perform doing a somersault a second.
Four Chinese singers, appearing first in native costume, then to full dress, closing with Scotch costume. St. in one – 16 min.
11 min, olio. Single woman with a remarkable voice in as much as she sings both Prima Donna, and Baritone. Several numbers are rendered opening with a rag time followed by popular and classic.
16 min in two man and woman, opening with some harmony singing. The man features an extemporaneous song by asking the audience to suggest different names and he will put them into a song.
Three girls in southern costume, sing popular and old time melodies. Act opens 5 min. in Olio and closes 9 min. full stage with special drop representing a southern homestead.
Do some fast and showy juggling and the comedy is given a new twist. One of the four men masquerade as a woman, disclosing his identity after some really excellent violin playing, full stage – 20 min.
Singing act, man and woman, open with duet, each following with a single number, the man using the piano for his song. An old fashioned song and dance number is featured in two – 19 min.
