Romany Opera Company

On at 3.56; open 3 min in 1, 20 min full stage, close 6 min in 1; 29 min in all. The greatest vocal organization it has ever been my pleasure to hear in vaudeville. This troupe is now a combination of the best voices of the Romany and Zingari companies. It fairly pulled the people out of their seats this afternoon.

Clarence Sisters

On at 1.49, 9 minutes, in 1; 3 shows. These girls are taking on weight at a rapid rate, and will soon be too heavy to be graceful and pleasing, if they don’t stop adding flesh. Their singing does not amount to much, but their dancing is pretty good, particularly the skipping-rope dance with which they finish their turn. They would have no trouble in holding the number two place in almost any of the smaller cities.

Ellis-Nowlin Troupe

The menagerie parade started the fun in good shape, and there was just enough of the clowning to add the desired comedy effect, while the straight acrobatics were cleverly handled.
