Armstrong and Holly

A man and woman in a comedy and dance act. The man is one of the original Armstrong Brothers, and, while he is not a very strong comedian, he works with considerable unction and manages to get considerable out of his line. The woman does not have much of anything to do except to feed him. She is fairly good looking and dresses neatly, and the act can be classed as a fair one. 20 minutes full stage; could close in one if necessary.

Mr. Eddie Mack

Dancing act. This young fellow is about the best soft show dancer that I know of, and he makes a bit of a novelty in his act with descriptive dancing impersonating different characters, and closes with an imitation of a base ball player dancing while playing ball which always makes a hit. 10 minutes in one.

Culver’s Bicycle Loop

It consists of two wheels 18 feet in diameter inside of which two men ride bicycles. It is a great novelty and would cause a bigger hit than it does were it not for the fact that something of the same order has been offered here before. 8 minutes full stage.

Culver’s Loop

Cycling sensation. This is a mechanical stage trick, and a very much overpaid act, but goes well. Full stage. Time 8 minutes.

Edith Helena

Phenomenal Singer. This is her second appearance this season. She is certainly a remarkable singer, and improves all the time. She is a great favorite at this house, and of course went strong with the audience.

Moore and Hight

“Change your act or back to the woods.” We consider this one of the best laughing acts that has been with us this season. It went great from start to finish, and is the hit of the bill. Full stage, close in one. Time 24 minutes.

Lowe and Hughes

Singers and Instrumentalists. This act must not be confounded with the Lowe Huges Trio. Lowe is the same as ever, but the woman he has is simply worthless, we cut out her singing entirely. Lowe’s Xylophone playing is great. Full stage, close in one. Time 14 minutes.

Charlie Case

Monologist. As a fun-maker this accomplished performer is on a planet of his own and his nearest competitors might just as well give us all hope of ever inhibiting it with him. His work is simply marvelous. 18 minutes of convulsive laughter in 1.

Clayton White, Marie Stuart and Co.

Compose of one man and two women. The sketch that they are presenting is entitled “In Paris.” It is an excellent vehicle and they act it to perfection. It causes one long laugh from the rise to the fall of the curtain. 30 minutes full stage.

Jessie Bartlett Davis

She is the picture of health in consequence of which her stage appearance is splendid. Vocally she was never better indeed nothing more could be asked for by the most critical and fastidious. She is the topnotch attraction in the singing line. 12 minutes in 1.
