Brown and Navarre

All in one. There is nothing especially attractive in this act except the woman is quite clever and their entire work would go better if Brown did not appear to be so self-conscious of his importance.

Glincerettis

2 shows, 8 mins, full stage. Half dozen acrobats, doing stereotyped work that has become too common in vaudeville to be unusual. It got lots of applause.

The Salambos

2 shows, 21 min., full stage. Interesting trick exhibition of the various uses of which electricity may be applied in stage effects, and a demonstration of wireless telepgraphy. It is not worth big booming, as the majority of people cannot attain to the proper understanding of what they are witnessing.

Lew Simmons and Frank White

3 shows, 18 mins., full stage. In an old black face, which I do not consider as clever or funny as the “Git on de Band Wagon” sketch. Their old time methods do not go with the public any more, although they may appeal strongly to those in the profession.

Guyer and Daly

2 shows. 15 min. C.D. Man and woman billed as an eccentric acrobatic and comedy dancing act; received seven curtain calls this afternoon; and nothing we have ever had here has aroused as much enthusiasm. Their whirl-wing wind-up did the trick.

Holloway Trio

2 shows- 12 mins. Garden in 4- One of the best wire acts in the country; three boys, charley Holloway making up as a girl and doing it so cleverly that the deception is not at all noticeable; one of the hits of the show.

C.E. Billing

3 shows. 15 min. in one- Yankee dialogue. This act was a frost here to-day. In his position on the bill he could do nothing, and I doubt if he could ‘make good’ in any position with the two-a-day acts. Had to but his work in half for the night show.

La Nole Bros.

3 shows. Car in 3-12 mins. Eccentric acrobatic act; two men, one clown and one working straight in an aerial circling ladder act; it is a strong act of its kind; sensational wind-up gets a big hand.

Frank Bowman

Magician. This man does the usual three a day act, but is not as good as most of the others, owing we have so much of that kind of work unless he is clever the act is not at all cared for as is the case of this act. 18 min. in one, 3 shows.

Wonderful Busch

Muscular work on a trapeze. Something after the style of Pascatel, but not so good. By making long waits between his tricks he manages to stretch his act to six minutes. The turn is one of no value at all. 6 min. in two, 3 shows.
