“A Bathroom Scandal” Assisted by Tom Terriss. The linen of this skit are considerable of a disappointment. Both artists are clever and with something more worthy of their talent to work on, would undoubtedly make a hit. There is very little action however, and the dialogue is vapid in the extreme. Full stage. Time 19 minutes.
Street talking act in one. Very fair performers. Their stuff is funny and new, most of it, and they have introduced some clever comedy, using the house actor to great advantage. As a whole, they please very well. Time 19 minutes.
Sketch “Half Way House.” A very clever playlette, but dangerously like “The Soldier of Propville,” both in word, action, effects and situations. The Fishers make the best of a very bright dialogue, which goes very well. Full stage; time 18 minutes.
Vocalist and Musician. Please refined act. Miss Bindley presents a most striking appearance, plays gracefully and sings well. Opens with full stage; closes in one. Is exceedingly entertaining. Time 14 minutes.
Supposed to be a comedy juggler. The funniest thing he does is to have the audience throw turnips at him. Act fair.
European comedy wire performers. They are past masters in their line. For a finish to their act they do a running feat on a moving wire –propelled by a sort of bicycle apparatus—which is novel and good. I7 minutes full stage; 3 minutes in 1.
Tramp Comedian. Has one or two new songs and some bright talk which he delivers in good style and while the audience does not get enthusiastic over his act, he succeeds in holding them very well. 17 minutes in one.
“The GERMAN JESTER”. Has a rather poor monologue, but goes fairly well. The recitation with which he closes his act, seems to take better than anything else. 15 minutes in one.
Four men. A good straight musical act. While they do not play a great variety of instruments, what they do is very well done. 17 minutes, full stage.
Whirlwind dancers. I hardly consider the set they are now doing as good as their old one. They attempt a lot of comedy which does not go. 30 min. full stage, can close in one. 2 shows.
