Tom Edwards

English Ventriloquist. 25 minutes full stage. A great artist, good material and scored one great big hit.

Charles E. Colby and Allie C. Way

The ventriloquisms of Colby is quite good and he has a novel way of putting them together. I do not see that Miss Way adds much to the act except to probably draw an additional salary however the act must be classed as good. 18 minutes in three.

Tom Edwards

“The Huntsman Ventriloquist”. 23 minutes, full stage, interior. Going very well. However, in my opinion, he is getting a little more than he is worth.

The Great Lester

A genuine artist who had not the slightest trouble in giving the house the best line of entertainment of its kind ever seen here. Held the undivided attention throughout and finished very strong. 30 minutes, olio in 1.

Charles Colby and Allie Way

15 min. full stage. In a ventriloquil and dancing doll act, same as they did half a dozen years ago, before going abroad. There is little or no noticeable change in the work, and the act went well all through.

Great Lester

Time 5. Ventriloquist. In 1. Comes down to audience at finish. The best ever seen here. A huge hit. He works away from Reynard in every point. His comedy is high class.

Colby and Way

GNH. In a ventriloqual [sic] comedy act, also introducing Miss Way in her electrical doll dance. This is an act that we played several years ago before that went to Europe, and so far as I can see it is line for line as it was before they went away, however, it has been so long since they have been in the country that it appeared like a new act and is all right. 19 minutes; full stage.

Lieut. Carl Nobel

A European ventriloquist who introduces walking manakins [sic]. It is only a fair turn. It lacks the finish that American acts in the same line have. Pleased only fairly well. 17 minutes full stage and 2 minutes in I.

Colby and Way

12 minutes. Full stage-can close in 1. Man and woman, the man doing ordinary ventriloquist act with two figures and introduces in an electric cabinet a third figure which he calls a dancing doll. Both are clever and entertaining. $175. May be a little too much for them, still they are something in the field of novelty and carry a third man to help operate figures.

Trovollo

Ventriloquist. Has introduced a few new features to his already prolific act. He works his mechanical figures cleverly and the number of changes of voice, expression and patois, prove him to be a headliner in this class of work. Full stage; closing in one. Time 17 minutes.
