A Night with the Poets
This act went rather slowly this afternoon as a new man in the quartet did not seem to be up in his business. Lloyd’s reading was as admirable as ever but the quartet seemed to have selections that dragged horribly and which are to be changed tomorrow. While “Maud Muller” is a pretty poem I think the old selection of “The Old Man and Jim” would be better appreciated by our audiences. Much of the nervousness of the afternoon had worn off by night and the act went much better. Own act in 3. Time 22 min.
Alf Grant & Ethel Hoag
In 1. Time 10. Dialogue fully of weary puns. Monologue with imitations, fair. Very mediocre act.

This couple have a great line of talk in conjunction with a few roller skating stunts. Closed to a good hand.

Quiet talking act. went fairly well at the night show in this spot but not strong enough for our present bills.
Anderson & Burt

Talking act with a novel stage setting. Good material well handled closed to a good hand.
Mrs.Hatheway Turnbull
(22 mins.) Her lecture on animals was really a surprise to our audience and was given a great deal of attention. Her talk is interesting and her pictures especially pleasing to the women. It is something out of the ordinary for vaudeville and did very well for us.
Princeton & Watson

Frawlery & Louise

Bright talking act but had to make quite a few eliminations. Seemed to please and closed to a fair hand.
