Vera King

The same act she had for us last season, songs and stories which was fairly well accepted, but would have probably have gone stronger had she not been preceded by “Ray Cox”. However, it is a good act for the money. 2 shows, 13 min. in one.

Amelia Summerville

Monologue entitled “An Afternoon Tea.” It is really a little confidential talk to the audience. The act is good, somewhat out of the ordinary, and seemed to thoroughly please the audience. A good act. All in one. 15 minutes.

Ed Gray

He bills himself, ‘The Tall Tale Teller”. Pretty fair act. In one.

Le Roy & Woodford

15 mins. in one. Man and woman, cross-fire talking act. Some of the talk is interesting, but the audience could see it only at long intervals. Most of the stuff has been heard here before. Their work created very little interest. They put the show back to where it was before the musical act and the dogs.

Quicley Brothers

This is, perhaps the best talking act in vaudeville. While they did not go very well on their previous appearance here, the audience gave them an ovation this time which goes to show that you cannot sometimes tell. 17 min. in one

Phil & Nettie Peters

15 mins. in one. Crazy cross-fire talking act. They started off lively and worked hard. A few of their jokes were new – most of them were old. The girl is very pretty and is ¾ of the act, as she is full of life and ginger. She sings and dances a little and carries the act. Got by, with applause at the close.

Press Eldridge

He is telling some old and new stories, and more than making good. Twentyone minutes, all in one.

Lotta Gladstone

The Typical Country girl. This woman is a favorite with our audience. Her laugh is contagious, her stories droll and interesting, and is always sure of a warm welcome. 17 in one.

Frank Bush

Drop in one. 21 minutes. The only reception accorded any performer to-day. Bush knows how to tell his stories and takes his audience in to his confidence and makes them understand every word he says. All his stories were well received to-day and at the close earned a couple of recalls, closing to very good applause. 2 shows. Good for us at any time and always a drawing card.

McMahon & Chappelle

Man and woman who present a talking act in a very unusual manner and they have some new stuff and old jokes, so old that they are new, and that they get away with their work in great shape. The audience were highly pleased. I rather expected to see quite a little dancing which they didn’t have in their act, and in this way, I was mislead in the arrangement on the program. 18 min. in one, 3 shows
