McCormack & Regay
In “Steps A-la-Carte” — man and woman; singing, talking and dancing. Also portray two rube characters. 24 min in one; went poor.
Greenlee & Drayton
(10 mins.) Despite the fact that these boys went on in street clothes, owing to the non-arrival because of their baggage, they were a real clean-up hit. Songs and dances wore a riot of applause and they closed to a tremendous hand.
The Misses Cortez
“Singing & Dancing.” Act very suggestive would have to cut a lot out in most towns, in doing so act would die. Open spe drop in 3, close 2 min in 1. 12 Min.
Scanlon, Denno Bros. & Scanlon
(12 mins.) This is one of the best dancing novelties we have played. The act is composed of three men and a girl who first appears in boy’s clothing. They open as a straight singing quartette and then go into some very good dance with a rapid finish.
Misses Cortez
International Entertainers. They open their act by showing pictures on the screen of places where they have traveled in foreign countries. Their act consists of dancing and singing. Sing songs of different countries. 12 min. in one; went good.
Doherty Sisters
13 minutes in 1. I put these girls down here after the afternoon performance, and they held the spot in great shape. It is without a question the best act they have ever had, is thoroughly clean, and the girls are certainly clever. They made a hit here to-night.
