Ida May and Dad, in their singing dancing and talking act which made a big hit in this spot. 16 min. in one.
In “After a Girlie” – Two girls; one dressed as a boy in opening and closing; changes after first number. This act went rather slow at first, but their closing numbers went good; singing and dancing. Special drop. 14 min.
Singing, Dancing & Talking. Without any reason at all this act went fair, got a few laughs by useing the word “Hell” and thumping his nose at his partner. Act is about fitted for the poor Tab shows we played here
(30 mins.) About the best act that Howard has given us and was a big applause winner. He does little himself except a meledy of old-time songs, all of them going big. Etylyn Clark’s specialty stood out strong. They have some good dancing and specialty by the Chinese. Entire act is well presented.
Singing & Dancing. This act cleaned up this afternoon, have seen either acts with more class that did not go near so well. 12 min in 2.
In “Courtship on the Bowery” — Man and woman. Open with Chinese song and dress, then Irish song and dress, then to Toughs of the Bowery. This act received plenty of laughs thro their act and a big hand at the finish. 14 min. in one.
In one of the very best singing and dancing acts we have had. Incidentally they have a pianist who is exceptionally good and who does not try to smash the instrument to pieces as most of those we have, with the consequence that he was a big hit and were also Bradley and Ardine. 20 min. full stage.
Man and woman in some smart repartee badly rendered, some very indifferent dances and atrocious singing. Not worth anything to this house. 17 min. in one.
Singing & Dancing. Not a big time act by no means. act will get over in the small time houses more an account of the changes of costumes in front of the audience than from any other reason. I consider the act vulgar. 12 min in special setting in 3.
With man at piano. Miss Marbe introduced her songs and dances with very good results. 16 min. in one.
