Carl Randall

10 min. in one. This is a mighty clever chap, and would do as well on his own account even if he did not bill himself as “The American Laddie Cliff.” In some respects he is good, if not better, notably in his eccentric dancing. He certainly has a future.

Laddie Cliff

16 min. in one. Received the biggest advance hand of any act we have had here in a long time. Introduced some new songs, all of which were just as clever as those with which he has made previous hits. His eccentric dancing is better than ever; in fact, he is the hit of the show.

Dolly Sisters

13 minutes in one. A lively singing and dancing team with 3 or 4 changes. Filled the spot in good shape.

Clay Smith & Melnotte Twins

18 min. in one. Act well known on the circuit. Gave some of their former material with some new. The twins sing and dance in a sprightly and pleasing manner, and Clay Smith’s comedy work is entirely satisfactory for this spot. Considerable laughter throughout and a good closing hand.

Winne St. Clair

13 min. in one. A typical rube girl act. Songs and hits got a good many scattered laughs, and she finished very well with a rustic dance.

Chong & Rose Moey

(8 mins.) A clever novelty. Songs and dances nicely done. Pretty staging. Good opener.

Frances Bell & Boys

Two young wmen and a woman in a talking, singing and dancing act. This is a very neat act and should have received a good hand–received a very light hand thro act and at finish not a hand. 10 min. in one.

Sherwin Kelly

A young lady who does a little singing, some rather clever dancing and some good bicycle riding. Nice little act to open the show. 9 minutes full stage.

Frances Pritchard and Company

In a very unusual dancing act introducing a little singing. A very attractive offering with which the audience was highly pleased. 20 minutes full stage. Very short opening in one.

McBride & Godrich

Comedy Singers and Dancers. This is McBride of Coakly & McBride and his wife. Really an old-fashioned song and dance team that harks back to variety days. They tell all the old gags that have ever been spring but somehow managed to overlook “Why does the chicken cross the street” and “The Climate, my boy.” Act might do for the family department but hardly strong enough for the regular opry houses. Moved up from #3 after matinee. Street in 1. Time 18 min.
