Billy Gaston & Minerva Coverdale
In “Nifty Nonsense.” This act proved a sure fire hit this afternoon and repeated again tonight and should prove a welcome feature in vaudeville. Gaston carries the burden of the act and his songs and eccentric manoeuvers got over in splendid shape. C.D.Fcy in 3. 4 min close in 1. Time 22 min.
Three Leightons
3 men. Time 17. C.D. Still doing their “One Night Stand In Minstrelsy.” This excellent merger of comedy, songs and dancing has been changed a little and goes with a big laugh. Close in one.
Great Golden Troupe
13 min. F.S. Same act as presented here before, being gorgeously costumed. The vocal work is fairly good and the whirlwind dancing is very swift and expert. Received some applause during the act and a big hand at the finish.
Ruby Raymond & Co.
13 min. in one. Act well known here and well liked. Miss Raymond makes a pretty picture, is a good vocaliste and an expert dancer. Some good songs which got laughter and applause. Closed with the wooden-shoe dancing which made a hit.
Gorman and West
A little talk, singing and dancing. Act is not bad and all right for the small time. F.S. Closing in one.

The 6 English Gems
There has been a great deal of comment about this act but it is not nearly as bad as it has been made out. I think I have discovered the greatest trouble with the act, a fault which they are going to remedy at once. I will give a later report afterwards. The trouble is, they are doing all their work with the piano and unlike most other piano acts, in order to be able to do their other work the piano has to be considerably up stage, and consequently the musical accompaniment is lost. They are going to do their work with the orchestra here, possibly tonight or as soon afterwards as they can and I have doubt that with the orchestration to lift it up there will be a great difference in the act. 16 Min. Had orchestra at night show, making great improvement in act. Gained considerable applause. I understand this is a different act than they have done, except the last three days in Union Hill.
