15 minutes fs. Special set. Woman and two men in songs, dance and bicycle tricks. One of the men does some dancing and singing on the single wheel that is good. In fact, made quite a hit. Good act and went over well.
In “Ma’mzelle Caprice.” 19 min. This well known couple have a new vehicle this season and it is the best they have ever offered. It is a very cleverly written operetta carrying a light but interesting story during several catchy song numbers and a bit of dancing are introduced. The excellent playing of the two principals adds to its value and the act scored an unmistakable hit.
A splendidly mounted and presented singing and dancing act. A good novelty and good advertising feature. I closed the show with them Monday afternoon, but lost a good deal of the value of them that way, although they went very well indeed. 20 mins full stage. Short close in one.
19 minutes fs. Special draperies. This is another act that made a big hit. Miss Pilcer’s costumes are quite the most beautiful and costly creations imaginable. We advertised their imitation of Gaby Deslys and Harry Pilcer quite heavily, and it went over big. A lively singing and dancing act, full of speed, with lots of class.
2 women, one man. Women look a like. Singing and dancing and a surprise where both women are used in a little disappearance stunt in which one of the girls gives the trick a way. Work in two. Special drop 15 min. Went fairly good.
Twenty-five min. Eight men, two women. Special set, full stage; three scenes. Singing, dancing and a Burlesque Band. Lots of good comedy, good dancing and some good singing. This act was such a hit that it stopped the show at every performance.
Songs and dances, two ladies, one man. 10 min. (1). Singing is a weak caliber, and it is only in the dancing that they accomplish much in an entertaining way, and even this portion is not of an extraordinary nature.
17 minutes in one. Olio drop. A couple of Boston boys in songs and dances. They had a great many friends in the audience at both performances, which may account for the exceptionally [sic] manner in which they got over.
23 min. For her return as a vaudeville star, this little artiste registered an emphatic hit. She did six songs with her imitations and used an impersonation of Franck Tinney. Closed her act with a dance and used an extra impersonation for her encore bit. Each was greeted with hearty applause and she was forced to take several curtain calls.
21 min. A group of eleven Scotch girls and boys in native songs and dances. A very pretty and highly entertaining number which scored solidly in the closing position and held the house well seated following Miss Tanguay. Wyatt is to be commended on the appearance on the act, both scenically and in the matter of costumes.
