Charles Nevin and Lydia Arnold

Splendidly dressed pair with several striking costume changes. Miss Arnold needs training in legmania, she lacks grace and the knowledge of what to do with her hands.

Stanley and Leonard

Very few ideas for the amount of time consumed. The pair would do better idependently of each other. Mr Stanley does a little dancing of the Cohan sort

Neff and Miller

A blackface pair who focus on singing and dancing. The smaller man’s makeup is good and he does an eccentric dance after the manner of Fred Stone. The act ends with burlesque boxing.

Mazie King

Three scenes of dancing and one song. The first settiing is “The Garden of Roses” and the drop is a house set. The second “The Land of Snow” is probably carried and the final “Niagra Falls” is a moving cascade background.

Walkowsky’s

Russian troupe, eight in number. Danced with abandon and grace and wore Russian costumes

The Empire Girls

Sensationalism boardering on the risque. Finish by lying on stage and going through a series of volouptuous gyrations

Whalen and West

Miss West has a pleasing appearance and should be allowed another song by herself.

Trumbull and Barnes

A sister act which is up to standard in the three essentials: dressing, dancing and stage appearance. Both girls are pretty, shapely and carry their clothes well. Cream coloured frocks of a little more than knee length. Their clog dancing is well done

The Reiff Brothers

Dance well but the stage is in need of reflooring which impedes them.
