Willie Solar

Ragtime singer and Russian dancer. Personally, I don’t care for the act, except his dancing of about two minutes at the close of his act. The first part of the act went only fairly, but his dancing was a big hit. The audience seemed to like him. 10 minutes in one.

Queenie Dunedin

“The Variety Girl.” Opening in one with singing and dancing; then to full stage on the wire, talkingall [sic] the time, then with the bicycle, windup with acrobatic stunts. 10 min; went good.

Clark and Bergman

“A Baseball Flirtation.” With songs, dances and clever talk this proves a refreshing number. In one but we gave them a little setting.

Estelle & Adelaide Lovenberg with Thomas & Simon Neary

In their new act which they term, “Around the Compass.” This is an arrangement of songs and dances of the North, East, South and West, giving a chance for many changes of costume and scenery. Naturally, the dancing is a most important feature of the act, but Mr. Simon Neary is a very fine vocalist and adds materially to the whole. The act repeated the same success here that it has credited with in other places that it has played. In fact, it is a much bigger hit than the “Six American Dancers” ever were here. 22 minutes opens full stage closes with 3 minutes in one. There is nothing to “strike” in the act when they finish with their full stage work, only drops to be taken up, this, leaving the stage clear for anything that might follow. We have quite an elaborate set following them this week and are making it without any trouble.

Lovenberg Sisters and Co.

Two women two men in a classy offering in three scenes called “Around the Campus.” One of the men is a good singer and they are all fine dancers. The act is well staged and custumed [sic]. 22 min. Full stage act was a big hit taking 8 to ten curtains each show.

Dong Fong Sue & Harry Haw

16 min. Three modern dance numbers used by these people for a finish form the feature of their offerings. They open with a song and the girl sings one number in Chinese, but it is not until they do their dancing that they reach the merit of their act. They finished to a very good hand.

Nevens & Gorden

Singing, talking and dancing, closing with the lads as a dummy soldier, throwing her all over the stage in all manner of shapes, which went great both matinee and night. 15 minutes; opern [sic] and close in one.

“A dream of the Orient”

Eight women two men and a four year old child. Special set. Very pretty. A very good singing and dancing offering which went over very good. This act has improved a great deal in two years.

Prince Kindia

Works in one 14 min. An offering of talk native dances and a scotch song. Act finishes with the Baptism of Fire. This is a very good offering out of the ordinary. Went very good

Jack Wyatt and Scotch Lads and Lassies

Fra’ the Land O’Heather and the Highlands of Scotland. In kilts and tartans. From the time the curtain rises until its final fall there is something doing all the time. Singing Scotch songs, dancing, playing of the bagpipe. They make a very nice appearance in a Scothishdress [sic]. This act has plated here twice before. It went great all day. Six curtains this afternoon and eight tonight. 21 minutes.
