Three Leightons

17 min. Open full stage, hotel bedroom scene, close in one. This act was sent sixth on bill, but was changed to provide for ‘acts’, and to avoid a wait. The act is done by three men who captured their audience from the first. Their comedy, singing and dancing is very well done, and their dancing finish in one gets so much applause that they are compelled to return and do an original rag time baseball game executed in dancing steps.

Isabel D’Armond & Frank Carter

21 min. in one, doing a little bit of everything. This act was the hit from its opening to its close, and the team had hard work leaving the audience. The act is without plot, and is a conglomeration of singing, talking and dancing. All is well done and meets with instant approval. This team does much of the ‘business’ offered here earlier in the season by Josephine & Cross. It is well dressed through out, and the youthful appearance of the couple does much in placing them in a favorable position with their audience.

Shirley & Kessler

Young man and woman in a singing number. The dancing of the man is the best part of the act. The singing is nothing to brag about. They got along fairly well with no finish to speak of. Just about got by. Garden in one. 13 minutes.

Stubblefield Trio

12 min. F.S. Open with some songs and eccentric dancing which gets by fairly well. Then proceeds to the triple bar work after undressing in mid-air. This part of the act is very skilful and received a good hand.

Meredith Sisters

20 minutes open and close 6 minutes in one. special drops. Doing pretty much the same style of act as before, but this afternoon did not seem to have the life or songs they formerly had. To-night, however, they went very big.

Arthur Deagon

Mr. Deagon surprised me very much indeed. He has a very good act and one which the audience liked immensely. He held the stage for 20 Min. and they wanted more. In One.

Kauffman Sisters

Two young ladies in a singing and dancing novelty. Fairly good act. 7 minutes, full stage.

Clemmons and Dean

Their dancing is good but we care little about their singing. Work in one but we gave them a little setting.

Harry Fox & Millership Sisters

20 min. in one. Held this spot in great shape. Received advance applause and were a hit all the way through. Fox’s patter is very amusing and the Millership Sisters make a pleasing appearance in their two changes of costume. Sing and dance well and got a strong hand for everything they did. Closed very strong.

The College Trio

Presenting “The Rehearsal”. A crack-a-jack little skit introducing singing and dancing. The act is immense and can hold a better position on the bill. 22 minutes full stage including 5 minutes in 1.
