Raymond & Caverly

This well known team of German comedians created a lot of laughs and finished strong. 19 minutes, street in 1.

Wilson Brothers

Dutch comedians, the feature of their act being their yodeling. Went very well indeed. 15 min. in one.

Nellie Nichols

Songstress-comedienne. She sang a number of songs and all them very successfully. Made as big a hit for a single woman act as almost anything that has ever played in the house. At the finish they would not let her leave the stage but compelled her to respond with another song and numerous bows. She is a very clever artist and mist be given credit for making a bona fide out-and-out hit. 20 minutes, olio in 1.

Doris Wilson

In 1. Time 10. Gowns, fine; voice, good; comedy, frightful. As a straight singer she could probably get by in good shape. As a “singing comedienne” she is very poor.

Lew Sully

Yyh-2. Vocalist and comedian, working in white face. He went very strong this afternoon, and held up the interest at the last end of the bill in good shape. My first impression was, that I was not going to like him in white face, but he seemed to go just as strong as he ever did in black, and I am going to let him continue that way, at least until I look him over again. 15 minutes, in one.

Charles B. Ward

The Bowery Boy. He is a capital singer, but has woven into his act too much chaff, to the exclusion of his music, which it is a delight to hear; always makes a hit here, particularly with the ‘gods’, to whom he appears to make a special overture. Works in one; time 16 Min.

Cecil Lean and Florence Holbrook

29 minutes, Full Stage. Two thorough artists, who understand vaudeville audiences and know how to please them. Making a great big hit here.
