12 min. in 1—Singer of the coon songs and a joke-smith, did not go very strong and came off after 8 minutes. This was due to the fact that he was closing a 5-hour show, not of lack of ability, for I think he would make good if he was put on before a fair sized audience. I notified him that he would have to make good his time or else quit, which he promised to do so.
Donald & Carson
22 minutes, special drop in 2, closing in one. Well known Scotch comedy singing act. Does not repeat so successfully as we hoped.

James Kelly and Dorothy Kent
17 min. open in 3 close in 1—One of the best acts of its kind in the business, both of the performers being really clever. The comedy is clean cut and singing and dancing better than the average. The finish, as a “tough” boy and girl, made a tremendous hit.
Janet Barrington and Mariam Martell
21 min. full stage, can close in 1—One of these girls works straight and the other in comedy make-up. The dialogue portion of the act is rather bright, though most of their jokes are old, singing and piano playing is a shade better than “fair”. It is all right in an early place in the bill.
Billy Gould
A very agreeable surprise. I knew he was going a good act but it is better than I looked for and he went very strongly with the audience both afternoon and night in a very different position in the bill. 16 minutes in one.
Sallie Stembler
Proved a little of a disappointment whether she went somewhat over the heads of the holiday audience or not is a question, however, she did not go very strong and is really not good enough I am afraid for the place I am obliged to give her in the bill, she would be all right before 8:30. 13 min. in one.
Barry and Halvers
19 min… man and woman, in a singing and comedy act. It is their old act, in which the man works as a tramp and the woman impersonates the ambitious actress. Fair act and went well in a very hard place.
