June Mills & Company

(12 mins.) A rough comedy singing turn that got a lot of laughs and closed strong. The woman resorts to a lot of low comedy with her songs and gets it over and she has good assistance from a man who sings in the orchestra pit.

Bert & Betty Wheeler

(23 mins.) A “nut” comedy by a man and woman. They have a lot of good laughing material and introduce a couple of songs and some stopping. Got good results and put over a laughing hit.

Trixie Friganza

(19 mins.) Although suffering severely from a very heavy could Miss Friganza did very well and got a lot of laughs with her talk and songs. She has some new numbers for an opening and closed to a very good hand.

Laddie Cliff

(13 mins.) This being his first appearance since coming from London he was a trifle nervous but he is still the same big favorite and was given a warm welcome. His songs are all new and he has a couple of comedy dance numbers which scored solidly and he closed strong.

Herbert Aseley

Two men and one woman. In an “Unusual Conversation”.” Their conversation is on the singing order principally interspersed with a line of talk. Woman appears only in the first part of the act. This act got lots of laughs and a big hand at finish. Special scenery. 20 min. Act opener in one and closed in full.

Emma Stephens

(13 mins.) Repeated very well, having several new songs, including a couple of good comedy numbers, that brought her very good results. Closed to a very good hand.

The Coral Comedy Four

The long drawn out dialogue takes all interest out of the singing. If they would confine there work to straight solo and Quartette singing the act would be greatly improved in my opinion.
